Michael Keane on Loan

Really hope there is some truth in this one, he's a quality young centre back and has done very well in this division at Blackburn and Leicester, has played 13 times for England U21's.

Would prefer this player to Nathan Ake, don't care how highly rated Ake is - he has only played 7 professional games in his career, would seem more sensible to sign a player who has played 43 games in this division over the past couple of seasons and done very well.

Would have thought that with Van Gaal's mammoth rebuilding task we might have more chance of being able to bring Keane in on a permanent if he impresses, Ake has a 5 year contract at Chelsea.

I assume that he would be for a month or two month's loan, to cover the injury of Bennett. The fact that we are apparently still after the Arsenal player may suggest that NA is not altogether happy with one or more of his weakest back four players - Garrido, Whits or Martin.

I would be happy with either or both of the two target players. They seem excellent prospects.

I think he is happy with his current defenders, there just aren't enough of them. With Bassong obviously not a part of the plans and Bennett out for a couple of months it is vital we get in some backup.

Crikey how dodgy must he be to not be able to get into Man U's current defence

Would be very happy with this, as you say CanaryBoy, better to get someone in who has had experience of this league, and has been playing regularly in it for the last couple of years.
