Grant Holt deserves all the adulation and affection that he receives from us Norwich fans but his time has gone. I think Adams responded well - was respectful but basically said no chance.

Agree with the majority here. Carlisle is the right place for him, we're building a team with a lot of speed and intricate passing patterns. I loved Grant when he was here, have nothing but appreciation for the major role he played in dragging us from League one, but there is no place for him as a player at Norwich now.

They say you should never go back, but in this case, if GH was happy to get 20 mins a game and be a part of the dressing room I'd be in favor of it. Big character and motivator.

And good with young players too, has received praise from Wigan for his attitude whilst training & playing with their development squad.
I fear that he would tarnish his legacy though if he returned, he should move down a level to League One (on loan) and score a hatful.

The only reason I would want him to return to the club would be to have him in the changing room. A massive character that left a hole in our squad when he left. Unfortunately his playing days are numbered.
