unless there's a decent fee involved, I'd be reluctant to let Bradley Johnson go in this window.

4 million in January 2015 really isn't a bad deal for a player like Dorrans. I imagine he'll be a dead cert for starting on the left side of midfield. He's a clever, two footed and hard working player.

As long as we aren't losing Olsson, like some rumours suggest, this will be great. Wouldn't be too worried if we lost Grabban though.

Realistically he perhaps worth £2.5m to £3m if a team at the bottom of the Prem or top of the Champs is interested, but I don't think we should let him go in this window. Do you?

A little on the expensive side, but I suppose that with our new money coming teams may try to make us pay top money.

I always thought, once he game, that Neil values him highly. There seems little doubt that he still does, but is it a lot to pay for a player not good enough for Albion and who can't be sure of a game if Howson, Johnson, Redmond and Tettey are all fit and available.

To be fair the bloke who said that was sacked a couple of months later, so perhaps we should take it with a pinch of salt. Very good player though.

and to be fair the manager doesnt give dorrans that status - the paper does

Solid and skillful player with good PL experience and one who offers different options in at least three different positions. Good signing, IMO.
