He'd be a good signing. In my time watching we've always looked better with a big man up top, some direct competition for Lafferty in that regard.

He seems to know what he is doing for a younger player, scoring 13 in 26 appearances for Leicester. We could always use some size up front. But this leaves me to question is he replacing someone or just adding to the squad? Could someone else be on the way out? It's just speculation on my part, but I thought I'd ask.

4 recognised first team strikers is what I think we would be after and minus Becchio we only have 3.

Hull might well show an interest in Hooper again as Shane Long is on his way and it will enable him to see Snodgrass.

Wolves have pulled out of the race, couldn't agree a deal with either Leicester or Wood, maybe he isn't going cheap.

I imagine a CB or RB will be the main priority, and then either a wide man (If Redmond also departs) or a striker.
