I have just been reading Thomas Tuchel's reason for selling Gilmour to Brighton .... ''we expected more'' said Tuchel before hinting that Gilmour's attitude was also a factor in him being sold for £9m. I can't see him improving an already pretty good Brighton side with his loose passing and terrible set-pieces. Thank goodness he was unpopular at NCFC otherwise we might have ended up with him permanently.

TBF the players around him didn't really help the situation.
I'm not a Gilmour fan but I think he would have been better served by continuing his learning with higher quality players around him.
