Seems like a big 3 points, well done all. Didn't see any of the game, watched an entertaining cup game on the telly box. Charlton v Coalville enjoyed it too, don't have a clue where Coalville is though

Rotherham are a team in 17th place in the Championship, it's probably be where they finish up at the end of the season.
Yet it was a fairly even, open game.
To say 3 points away from home is poor would be ridiculous, however, we're going to need to learn how to control games like this against 'lesser' opposition if we've any chance of moving forward.
We shouldn't be having games like basketball in this league.

I don't really mind how we win, frankly.

If this trend continues, and we're moving in the right direction, then it's all good. I think there are still ongoing issues, and we aren't really firing on all cylinders just yet, so will excuse us not mullering every single side. There are players missing who could genuinely make a difference, Omabamidele, Johnathon Rowe, Adam Idah, and now Nunez. I still think with everyone fit, we have a fantastic squad for this level.

We definitely aren't the side-mullering team we should be, but things are looking better than they did a few weeks back. As they say in 'the media' ... ''the next game is crucial''. If we come away with three points (which we should) and play well the feelgood factor prior to the long break will help enormously with confidence. If we are shite and lose it will leave a big black cloud over everything.

Oh definitely. Will be nice to see a few players back after the break too.

I can't help feeling that we'll bomb out of the Premier League, we don't seem to be improving as each season goes by.

I'm not bothered by PL survival anymore. I have friends who support West Ham and Crystal Palace and they are always moaning about finance and how they never win anything. We do need to go up this season for financial reasons but if we then get relegated again I'd be happy just to go and watch us in the EFL and see a few wins and some decent matches. I may be in a minority but I think the PL sucks ... not just in terms of the money involved, but also the massive egos, the ridiculous misuse of VAR and the fact that many people think the the PL is be all and end all of football. I went to Stroud recently and watched a good match between Forest Green Rovers and Bolton Wanderers. I also watched FGR's FA Cup match v South Shields on TV which was very entertaining, much better than yet another boring Man City drubbing of their less well-off opponents. Maybe I feel like that because I am an old geezer who yearns for the days when football was not controlled by TV money and foreign billionaires. I'd better shut up before I say something sensible.

I think the same Mr Cars, and others. I watched that Charlton cup game and enjoyed a game of football, unlike most of the games in the premier, which I think has totally screwed English football. corruption on a grand scale, from top to bottom, even paying agents obscene amounts each year, and now we have the authorities sending teams a letter/ order that they must enjoy the corrupted world cup. Bollards to that

I'd like to hope we can give them a tougher game than Blackpool did...
Boro just have a new manager so it's difficult to predict too accurately.
We should win, but these days that doesn't mean we'll win comfortably or make it easy for ourselves.

We Should beat Boro but with their new manager bounce and our inconsistency who knows. If we play Pukki 'n' Sarge up top I think we should have enough to get the job done.
