Cos he was at fault. He dithered on the ball, got robbed and they went down the other end of the pitch and scored. It started at him.

I don't think Josh does himself any favours sometimes though. He does appear to be a bit of a bottler. I think if he sticks in a tackle or two or gets clattered he might win a few people over.

Generally I think he's one of those players who is at his best playing on instinct. I think when he gets a bit of time (too much time) to think about something he's prone to f*cking it up. 

I dunno I think there was enough time between him losing the ball and them scoring to say that he wasn't at fault. We had numerous opportunities to break up the play before their goal. As you say as well whilst he did lose it it was up the other end of the pitch.

I agree though he comes across as a bottler, and to be fair I think he is a bit. His brother was the same to be fair but Josh seems to be more lightweight than even Jacob. He's got ability there's no doubt about that but he's in a real rut of bad form at the moment.

Not sure how it's happened but it seems you are under the impression that you are actually me.

As they say, you have to "take care of the ball". Don't give it away cheaply cos it costs you. 

Keeping hold of the ball is one area Josh has got a lot of room for improvement.

Vrancic had a pretty decent game and is starting to show his range of passing. He needs movement off the ball for him to do that and I thought we were better in the second half in that area which game him more options.

I don't think "bottler" is very fair, he is very much a confidence player, its a pretty common thing with young players when people pile a lot of expectation on them.

He just needs a few players on his wavelength. I thought the movement from Maddison, Oliveira and Pritchard made a difference, plus the full backs pushing up gave him those options. I thought he got stuck in a bit more too and  won a few headers. There’s definitely a decent player there.

I don't think it will be very long before we see Jamal in at left back, which will give us another attacking dimension.

I hope so, it'll be my first trip there and would love it if we beat them. Love it.

Thought we played well overall and completely deserved the 3 points.

Despite missing a couple of golden chances Oliviera was far more committed. Lets hope it had nothing to do with the cameras. 

Vrancic our best midfielder two games in a row personally. Most of our attacks again originated from him. Still got tons of stick from fans who are football blind and unwilling to change an opinion.

Murphy? Probably shouldnt be starting at the moment as his confidence looks shot. Its annoying that the fans jumped on him from the start but if hes only going to make a token effort to challenge for a ball thats probably 60/40 in his favour then its always going to be hard to defend him. Bottler is a harsh but unfortunately accurate accusation.

I might get tickets for that too, was meant to be going away back to work on the 27th but that has changed now.

Leeds are quite a bit stronger than SW so the lads will need to be on that 2nd half level from the off.

SW looked in need of fresh blood, I thought.

I agree the expectation thing will be a factor. But if you look at Maddison, who is younger than Murphy and also the most fouled player in the league, every game he's still getting stuck in and trying to get his foot on the ball. Redmond and Jacob Murphy were very lightweight but still didn't seem to pull out of challenges in the same way Josh does. 

The thing is when you're low on confidence and not playing very well, the least you can do is get stuck in. Fans will at least appreciate that. Whilst Josh was poor yesterday, I didn't always agree with the stick he was getting from some fans, but he certainly doesn't help himself by seeing so reluctant to get stuck in.

I think as well Farke moving him back into more of a holding role has helped him. He was being played further up the pitch earlier in the season so the only real options he'd have in front of him are whoever's playing up front and whoever's playing in the other two attacking midfield roles next to him. Now he's playing deeper as you say he's got more options in front of him with the full backs pushing on, 3 attacking midfielders and a striker in front of him, plus as he's not as far up the pitch he has a bit more time to pick and choose a pass. 

I agree as well yeah he's been getting stuck in more in the last few games than he has done all season. Don't really understand why fans are still finding excuses to criticise him.
