Nah. I'm in the Jarrold. The good looking one talking sense.
Lol. Yup.The Jarrold is literally like a waiting room for folks waiting for people to die in the City stand so they can have their season tickets.
I have got quite adept at mentally blocking out idiots, trust me![]()
Cos he was at fault. He dithered on the ball, got robbed and they went down the other end of the pitch and scored. It started at him.
I dunno I think there was enough time between him losing the ball and them scoring to say that he wasn't at fault. We had numerous opportunities to break up the play before their goal. As you say as well whilst he did lose it it was up the other end of the pitch.I don't think Josh does himself any favours sometimes though. He does appear to be a bit of a bottler. I think if he sticks in a tackle or two or gets clattered he might win a few people over.
Generally I think he's one of those players who is at his best playing on instinct. I think when he gets a bit of time (too much time) to think about something he's prone to f*cking it up.

I don't think "bottler" is very fair, he is very much a confidence player, its a pretty common thing with young players when people pile a lot of expectation on them.I dunno I think there was enough time between him losing the ball and them scoring to say that he wasn't at fault. I agree though he comes across as a bottler, and to be fair I think he is a bit. His brother was the same to be fair but Josh seems to be more lightweight than even Jacob. He's got ability there's no doubt about that but he's in a real rut of bad form at the moment.
Not sure how it's happened but it seems you are under the impression that you are actually me.
Best passer at the club from what I have seen. Also has a lot of clever little subtle touches.Vrancic had a pretty decent game and is starting to show his range of passing. He needs movement off the ball for him to do that and I thought we were better in the second half in that area which game him more options.
He just needs a few players on his wavelength. I thought the movement from Maddison, Oliveira and Pritchard made a difference, plus the full backs pushing up gave him those options. I thought he got stuck in a bit more too and won a few headers. There’s definitely a decent player there.Best passer at the club from what I have seen. Also has a lot of clever little subtle touches.
I don't think it will be very long before we see Jamal in at left back, which will give us another attacking dimension. He just needs a few players on his wavelength. The capacity of some to retain some begrudging miserableness astounds me though, can't these folks just enjoy the win? It’s difficult to not get excited after finally getting a good win. If we can get something at Leeds then we may have turned the corner
Leeds away is a decent one to tick off. I’m off to Burton on the 30th, can’t wait now ?The capacity of some to retain some begrudging miserableness astounds me though, can't these folks just enjoy the win?
I hope so, it'll be my first trip there and would love it if we beat them. Love it.
I might get tickets for that too, was meant to be going away back to work on the 27th but that has changed now.Leeds away is a decent one to tick off. I’m off to Burton on the 30th, can’t wait now ?
I agree the expectation thing will be a factor. But if you look at Maddison, who is younger than Murphy and also the most fouled player in the league, every game he's still getting stuck in and trying to get his foot on the ball. Redmond and Jacob Murphy were very lightweight but still didn't seem to pull out of challenges in the same way Josh does.I don't think "bottler" is very fair, he is very much a confidence player, its a pretty common thing with young players when people pile a lot of expectation on them.
I think as well Farke moving him back into more of a holding role has helped him. He was being played further up the pitch earlier in the season so the only real options he'd have in front of him are whoever's playing up front and whoever's playing in the other two attacking midfield roles next to him. Now he's playing deeper as you say he's got more options in front of him with the full backs pushing on, 3 attacking midfielders and a striker in front of him, plus as he's not as far up the pitch he has a bit more time to pick and choose a pass.He just needs a few players on his wavelength. I thought the movement from Maddison, Oliveira and Pritchard made a difference, plus the full backs pushing up gave him those options. I thought he got stuck in a bit more too and won a few headers.
