Biggest talking point is strikers, and who is fit. Would be nice to get something from this, not only in respect of points but further sign that things may start to click.

Hoping Pinto is fit, as I think Martin's days of filling in at RB should be coming to an end.

Certainly a game we should be looking at winning. We've done well against Millwall in recent years, including a couple of thrashings, so something similar would be great.

Farke has said that Jerome is out but Oliveira will be in the squad. Not clear yet though whether that'll be in a starting place or on the bench. Hopefully he'll start. I would assume Pinto will start as well seeing as he played 90 against Charlton. Didn't see the cup game but sounds as if Steipermann did really well at left back, and seeing as Husband hasn't been particularly impressive, maybe he could come in for him? If Nelson is fit enough to start I'd go with:

Hard to know what side we'll see to be honest. I was at Villa last week and with the exception of Murphy, Gunn and Nelson nobody did themselves any favours. Martin simply can be nowhere near the team, and Maddison has to play unlike last weekend. Hoping that Wes is able to play but if not I'd have Wildschut in.

Want to say we'll win this, but in all honesty it wouldn't surprise me if we won 3-0 or lost 3-0. Gonna go in the middle and say 1-1.

We are long past Russell Martin being the blame for everything. There is something very wrong with our ethos, we're not working as a team and it goes way, way beyond the individual, which is even more worrying.

But part of that ethos is giving Russell an extended contract and regular place in the team because he's a great guy.

Whilst I accept that I was maybe expecting to be a bit further up the table at this juncture, its worth pointing out its still August and we have played 5 league games.
