Not so much a must win, but a "must at least put some effort in and restore a bit of pride".

It's the closest game for me, so I shall be going. Although I think, Bristol City need a win win much more than us

Hi Morty, Unfortunately i missed all the action the other day, and was wondering , what on earth you had done to be absent from 'the other place', normally find you good fun and a defender of the Club. wha's gorn on?

Yeah basically, but also the run in should perhaps be about bedding in some players who could be staking a claim for next season. Lets see Maddison get some football, show us he should be here next year rather than out on loan. Lets drop Jacob Murphy after a bad performance and tell his brother to show us what he can do.

And why not give Pritchard a run of starts, he is the future. Shame we haven't got Carlton Morris at the club, because we'd have nothing to lose to give him a few appearances from the bench if he was. See if he could grab a goal or too. An academy player doing well always lifts the spirits for a bit.

I'd love to see this given a go.....

                Jerome

Josh         Maddison     Pritchard

I'm not saying Wes has done anything wrong, although he is far more effective at home and I do think he should sit out most midweek games these days.  Of if he really doesn't fancy Maddison right now, lets give Pritchard a go in the middle....

Wildschut      Pritchard      Josh

There are quite a few combinations he hasn't tried in those attacking positions. Should be about people being allowed to stake a claim for a place now. Got a terrible feeling he has been waiting for an excuse to drop Ruddy and give his mate from Hamilton his place back in goal though

Agree CB, this season is gone, thoughts should move on to asinillating the younger players and sorting things out for a real tilt at it next season.

Just idiots with nothing better to do than wind me up, then grass me up to the moderator. All a bit pathetic really

And I have been banned till the year 2169 for calling one of them a moron

Yeah, I got that 2169 ban too for sharing a link to this forum. You could just start a new account, Waveney must have had about 300 (judging by every single time I go on there some new poster is accused of being Waveney)

Is only 152 years, will fly by.

And Sports Desk Pete will probably retire in about 30 years, so 122 of those you can disregard.

(Or buy him a few pints next season and I'm sure he'll pull some strings, ha).

Have you had a 1 month ban or anything before this?

Makes more sense to do a progression... like 1 week, then 1 month, then 3 month, then life or something. At least then you know when you've just served a 3 month that you need to be on your best behaviour. All a bit redundant when all you need is a new email address to start a new account though. Have to start thinking of your new username, ha.

Nope, never been banned.

The pinkun isn't actually moderated, all he does is react to people pressing the report button. Which, in itself, can be open to abuse, as if you read the terms and conditions, pretty much everything is reportable.

That's probably my fault because I had that huge list of rules when it started, because dozens of people kept sending me PM's saying do this and do that. But there hasn't actually been a list of rules for about 18 months, and the number of lifetime bans in about 2.5 years stands at precisely 1, and that was Waveney (and that was only a new £50 android phone away from being negated, in reality).

Even James Kent only got a 4 day ban after about 3 months of constant spamming, that 4 days took him to the day after the transfer window just because I knew it would frustrate him not to be able to spam an inevitable deadline day themed 'article', ha.

Thanks for starting all these match threads by the way. I may actually get my backside in gear and sort this place out in pre-season, sort out all the 'current canaries' threads etc and bring back some of the old features. I've basically neglected this place, will make some time for it.

Hi Morty.  Whilst I don't always agree with you, that is beyond ridiculous.  Whatever happened to free speech.  For what it's worth you have my support.

Didn't help that I started falling out of love with football a bit to be honest. Bizarrely getting back into it again now that we're sh*t
