I genuinely don't understand how we got so terrible? I mean, of course, you can point to lots of things, management, ownership, investment, recruitment etc. But QPR are properly rubbish, but yet again we made a team look like 1970's Brazil.

I can understand dips in form, but not catastrophic plunges like this.

We're inconsistent, we can play well sometimes.
That's a mental thing which has to come down to coaching.

We're worse than inconsistent though, we have been downright terrible recently.

I mean, I get there are lots of factors here, players that have been relegated need picking up, new players need time to bed in, and this is exacerbated as we can't afford to spend the money on players ready to go from day one. We have been "unlucky" with the loans, and there is no denying our centre back situation. But still, I think we should have more than enough to, at least, make the playoffs. And as much as I like some of out longer serving players, maybe a few are just a bit too comfortable, or promotion and relegation has sapped them mentally.

But apart from that, home from Norway now and really looking forward to Saturday...

"Too Comfortable" sums it up from the very top to the bottom of the club. I have been saying for months that this group of players have no intention of reaching the playoffs. Playing out from the back like you are Barcelona or Bayern Munich, when there has been plenty of evidence you are incapable or too incompetent to do so, exposes the total lack of any Plan B when it obviously does not work. I told my wife last night at 7.30 that Lyndon Dikes would score and 9 minutes in, he did.
The key deficiency remains a lack of physicality in all areas, a huge handicap in the Championship. Finally, can someione please enlighten me as to the value of having a "set-piece" coach has brought to recent performances?

Just wondering where the old Wagner has gone to, from his early few games

If Webber now tells Wagner there is no money, and he has to manage what he has got, no wonder he has lost interest. Does anyone know what the plan is to halt what is an obvious and rapid decline? Aiming for a transfusion of physicality from front to back in the team and junking the "six passes to reach the halfway line" method of playing would be a start.
