Not a rumour, just a general wondering. Was surprised to learn this chap is a free agent. Didnt realise his move to Barnsley was pemanent, thought it was a loan. Was released after Barnsley's relegation last year.

Sent off on both his debut for Arsenal and Barnsley, injured (cruciates) within 4 games of his loan spell at Wolves. Seems more interested in music than football, and reported to have complained via twitter after being pictured in his Barnsley strip after completing his move that he wouldnt be able to pull girls in it. Which is probably true, but not very respectful.

BUT, can he play football? Was highly rated by someone somewhere once. And free. Any thoughts? Or should I just ask the tumbleweed?

We don't need the gamble this season. Maybe he'll be good but I think we can attract more proven talent.

I was working at Arsenal just as Frimpong was looking like he might become a star. Was absolutely stunning in some development games there, and often dominanted midfield against senior-pros in the old reserve league.

Injuries have curtailed the physical side to his game, and without that he really isn't sure how to play. Think he still has a great amount of talent, but he needs to learn how to use it now he can't go tearing around the pitch anymore.

Not good enough to play for Norwich, but can see him having a successful career once he is older, if he learns to adapt his game a bit.
