With no other Championship fixtures midweek I would like to see a full strength team out. Its obvious (especially after they played last night) Chelsea will bring the reserves, so you just never know.....

Oh and theres still plenty of tickets left if anyone is interested, if anyone needs a ticket but isn't a season ticket holder/member (and the people that are going aren't Chelsea fans) then give me a shout!

Agree too, this is an opportunity for the club to pull of a surprise regardless of how unlikely it is. Chelsea's team will stil be very strong I'm sure, but it would really help with morale for all at the club and most import the supporters, if our team really went for this... and that can only be done with a strong team....one that doesnt resemble the line up we played at Burton!

I would expect to see a strong Chelsea side. They had Pedro and Willian on the bench last night so they'll probably start.

From the presser, basically just Reed and Stiepermann definitely absent. Farke hints at maybe a bit of rotation, but also says players have had decent time to recover since the last game. Sean Raggett unlikely to be involved, but will remain here for the rest of the month before a decision is made about him going on loan again or not.
As an aside, this really shows the value of how we are making the loan system work for us, we have a player here, in Raggett, that is fully match fit, with half a season of solid games under his belt, and raring to go.

Don't usually do cup games but one of my best mates is a Chelsea fan (despite the fact he was born and has lived his whole life in Hellesdon),so am gonna go with him to this one. Looking forward to it. There's no real expectation or pressure on us so hopefully we can play with a bit of freedom and hopefully claim a bit of a scalp.
I would probably rotate a little bit, but with a week until our next game there's no reason to rest too many players. Tettey is the only one I'd definitely leave out. Shame Stiepermann isn't fit because it would've been interesting had he got a chance in midfield. I'd go for:
Reckon we'll give them a game, and hopefully we can go one further than that and actually get into the 4th round (though I wouldn't bet on it).

Hopefully the likes of Cantwell and Abrahams are on the bench, and depending on how the game goes it'd be nice to get them on the pitch. I would put Jerome in the starting XI but it seems practically nailed on that he's leaving so I don't really see the point. Imagine Josh will start over Wildschut which to be fair I don't mind but I'd like to see Wildschut get some minutes at least.Reckon we'll give them a game, and hopefully we can go one further than that and actually get into the 4th round (though I wouldn't bet on it).

Fortunately for me whilst he is a Chelsea fan he doesn't live and breath football so he won't be a sore winner should they win. Can't say the same unfortunately for the Villa and the Arsenal fan that I share a house with

Very pleased with that despite some determined to make it about how poor Chelsea were, and not how well we played. Have to say didn't see the false 9 formation coming, Farke said after Oliviera has had a foot problem so didn't want to risk him, no sign of Jerome, take that how you will.
I thought the system worked very well. I have always felt Farke was heading for 3 CB's and two pacey wing backs, but I feel a harder working clinical striker would really finish it off.
Jamal Lewis again, just how good is this lad, never looked out of place against a much better side. Murphy played his role well too. Pritch and Maddison very good as always.
A replay isn't the worst thing in the world, apparently the money we made from the Arsenal game went towards some much needed improvements to Colney, and this will pay for a few more. I'll likely go, this will be a game that Chelsea really don't want and I don't think they will put much of a side out, so you just never know.....

System worked well defensively, but offensively didnt create a clear chance.
Was nice to see such a shift from our players, everyone working for each other.
But yeah, Chelsea were very, very poor. Have they ever given the ball away so much in the last 10 years?

This is worth a watch, as long as you can stand Jake Humphrey and Chris Sutton. Watch out for Lampard calling the cold weather in Norwich a factor for the Chelsea performance Sutton also gets a crafty little whine in at the end about how Norwich always sell players!

That was a good performance. Liked the system. Lewis excellent. As said shame we couldn't nick it, but I'll take the draw. Also thought Klose and Zimmerman waere excellent. OTBC
