Harry didn't seem that confident regarding Fer in his midweek press conference.
If nobody reaches out valuation of him, I think he'll be happy to stay, especially considering his comments while at the World Cup, where he said he was committed to Norwich.

I'm Still concerned that manure will come in for him, 'not good enough 'i hear people cry. Good enough for LVG to take to brazil, and the kind of money we'd demand is peanuts to them. He's medium sized fish in a quite small pond at the moment.

Cant see Man Utd coming in for him. Will probably end up at Southampton for £10 million.

No way will he go to United. If your saying that he will go there because LVG took him to the world cup then surely he would look at Wijnaldum or De Guzman who he kept picking over Fer.

I'd be delighted if i am wrong about Man U, i dont think for a minute that he'd be regarded as a marquee signing for them, but he would be a squad player...and a handy one too. I want to see him stay, do well and become a really valuable asset ( both football wise and monetary )for the club. yep, i know Strootman, wijlnadum etc are ahead of him in the dutch squad, but that doesnt make him a bad player....just not the best...at the moment. Now RvW looks to be gone we should really try to keep him. I dont want to start a round of Hughton bashing but he didnt use fer , or some other players for that matter, how i imagined he would. We got glimpses of his ability, but to me it seemed that he was told to hold his runs, be a dm, therefore stifling his natural game. Like i said, i've nothing concrete to back up my fears, it's just a niggle....and an offhand comment made by a dutch pal '' Fer is just LVGs kind of player.....you know he's tracked him since he was very young''...i didnt, and maybe its a wind up....but cant help a little bit of pant wetting about it. If we stay as strong as we are with a bit more in defence i see no reason why we cant do a Newcastle and Fly it straight back up. We have (at the moment ) a squad full of players that would be the envy of most if not all Championship Managers. Really looking forward to next Sunday now.

I still think he'd be a handy signing for Man Utd to have in reserve, the guy's got class, appears we've got a manager who leaves it 'up to the player' if they want to leave, at least thats the message to all reading the papers out there. Would be at a bargain price if United were to unsettle him, we're pretty much powerless in that scenario.
Hope i'm wrong of course, but i could see it quite possible if they don't get all their targets this summer.

I have a feeling that ManUtd would feel that it would be beneath them to sign a player from a relegated team. I may be wrong, but these rumours are easy to start. Remember when ManUtd were said to be keen on signing Chris Martin when he first broke into Peter Grant's side?

If you believe the papers, Man United are about to hold a fire-sale for a number of their players. I just can't see them going in for Fer, although I can see why we could suggest it.

I think he'd be a decent relatively low risk signing for Man U. He's gotta be better than Cleverley surely! I just don't think the fans would warm to signing a relegated player and it'd create a poisonous atmosphere for him and LvG from the off. Daft I know and I suppose it was like when we signed Dion Dublin at 38 but for different reasons. What a buy he was and all my mates were ribbing me when he joined!

Yeah, you're probably right. However at 24 years of age, does he want to go and sit on the bench at United? It's hard to turn down a club like United, especially the money.

I can't see why any team in the Prem would want him, lazy, slow, didn't look interested half the time bottles tackles.

It's an interesting one, because at points early in the season I thought he looked superb. However as the season went by and the atmosphere darkened around the whole team, he seemed to go into his shell. Also the niggling injuries he kept picking up didn't help.
