It sounds to me like he's had a word with Leroy about staying and the response has been something like 'Yeah, but I want to see what's out there first'

If he is still here come the end of the window, it will represent a massive coup. It would be a statement of intent without us saying anything. Unfortunately, I still think we'll lose him which is a crying shame as he would be a beast in the Championship - mainly because he's a class above it.

Agree with all above comments. As we all know,He married a dutch girl in Norwich a few days ago, when his home country is one of our nearest neighbours......really hope this means he wants to stay in the area. Very worried that Van Gaal, who  took him to Brazil, may come in with a bid that although relatively small for Man U, would prove too good for us, and Leroy to resist. Would £10m be enough to rock the boards boat, its not a sum that would trouble utd, they've kissed goodbye to that in letting Fellaini go.

Unless Leroy has gone to the board and asked them to leave, we should be holding out for an offer between £12-£15 million. Mainly because we don't need to sell him and transfer prices should be inflated for players who don't want to leave. Thoroughly hope he stays and I wouldn't bet against him staying (also wouldn't bet against him leaving). If he does stay, he'll be a superb player in the Championship, will gain a great reputation with the fans for not bolting after relegation and in no time at all, he'll be back in the top level while proving there is something called loyalty in football.

It's looking increasingly likely that we will lose Leroy Fer isn't it? I just hope that we get a good fee and the board appreciate the need to reinvest a big chunk of it back into the team.

Based on what??? Suarez and Bale are phenomenal players, Leroy Fer is average at best.  I could name 50 midfielder's that are better than him at least probably 100

He's probably phenomenal compared with most Championship midfielders, although with doubts about his ability to handle a 46 game season and his inconsistency.... if we get a good offer I'll understand if we accept, as long as we aren't finished bringing people in.

I'm not sure he is set to leave. He's still training with us, so he's not anywhere having a medical and obviously at the moment we rate him a lot higher than most teams wanting to add him. If you pair that with the fact he seems happy to stay (at least publically and in his statements at the World Cup) I'm not sure we're close to losing him.

Well Harry Redknapp confirming that QPR are trying to make a deal happen and that Fernandes and Beard are "dealing with it", suggests that we are in negotiations with QPR? 

RVW said that he was happy here too, publicly, but looked to have been given a choice of staying and competing or going to St Ettiene - and chose to go.

As Harry mentioned in reference to Troy Deeny, if the asking price is more than their evaluation they are happy to move on. As this has been ongoing for a while, I imagine our asking price is higher than their evaluation and they'll be moving on to other targets, heavily linked with De Guzman at the moment.

Harry said that yesterday or day before (that Fernandes was dealing with it), and we first heard of QPR interest on 23rd July (over three weeks ago). There can't be too much between QPRs valuation and our valuation if they still haven't moved on?

Wouldn't surprise me if QPR have made a semi-acceptable offer, but we are waiting to see if anybody else can beat it before the end of the window. That's why I think he will be leaving us, to either QPR or a team who could beat their offer within the next couple of weeks.

Just speculating of course, but QPR don't seem to have "moved on" from this one.

Personally, just pleased to see him wearing the shirt again. Don't think any conclusions can be drawn with him coming on and waving off.

Gut says he's off, head is confused and heart wants him to stay. Lol

Felt like a goodbye and rightly so in my opinion. I don't think he's the right type of player for slogging it out in the Champs so expect the club to cash in on him in the next few days.
