Strange Fixtures

Just flicking through games to stick pins in the ones I can make this season and noticed we're due to play Millwall at home on Boxing Day, then Reading away on the 28th? Is this normal? 48 hours between games can't be right surely?

Yep. It's always like that over the festive season.

A game on Boxing day, A game New Years, and a game in between with the 3rd round of the FA cup starting the following weekend.

Thought it was normally Boxing day, the Saturday in between (if there is one between 28th and 30th) then New Years Day then FA cup

It's always seemed strange that we cram games together over Christmas when other countries are taking a break. I don't like the break idea, but I suspect our large squad will prove very valuable around then.
