Three points away at Fulham would make up for this slip  :)

Only criticism I could have is that Neil maybe made his subs a bit too late, but in his defence, he probably looked at the game and thought the goal was coming. We were camped in their half for long periods in the second half.

Have to say I don't think Jerome had his best game.

Glad I'm not the only one who thought that.

People might not like this but I thought Jerome played a little bit like he might have taken his foot off the gas after a few good outings.

I don't think he played tonight like he really meant it.

I'm not sure, a big part of it could be plain frustration at a very resolute Charlton defence. Things just didn't drop for him, he didn't get that wee slice of luck thats needed sometimes.

I'm not going to jump to any conclusions just yet, the whole team must be wondering what more they could have done.

And he is probably playing more football than he has done in quite some time.

The trouble is though, is that we don't have a real back up thats similar.

Yeah, I can maybe see that about him playing more football than he's been used to and I am very much a fan of the guy.

And it was a tough ask against a very well organised defence. But did he push himself and them enough? I'm not sure he did, I think he's capable of better.

Everyone has an off day or night though and I look forward to seeing him cause Rotherham plenty of problems.

Given our dominance (though I'm surprised that the possession stat isn't higher) we only actually managed 4 shots on target, which says none of our attacking play was particularly productive.

Ultimately poor refereeing was definitely a factor.

This is a penalty and a red card any day of the week.

I can't comment at all on the performance because I wasn't there and only had a functioning stream for half an hour, sounds like we dominated possession at least.

(I was in Norwich until 2pm today and we had to get home for my wifes work, and on Saturday morning I'd made the decision to ask my wife to drive us to Blackpool only to be told that she'd booked an MOT that day for our only car, this is getting ridiculous - Sheffield Wednesday will be my first game this season!).

But this is our home form:

Norwich 0-1 Charlton

Norwich 2-2 Birmingham

Norwich 1-1 Bournemouth

I'm glad that our game on Saturday is at home, because we need to put this right. Am I the only person concerned by that?

If we start talking about possession stats, chances, luck, bad decisions - it reminds me a bit of all those games under Hughton were we'd had dozens of chances and dominated but just couldn't score.

Our home form needs to improve. As simple as that really, I hope it starts on Saturday.

The difference is though that we are top of the league, but yes, the home form needs to improve. Unfortunately every side will look at how Charlton played and try and emulate it.

Looking at our last season in the Championship, we lost 3 of our first 5 home games so there's no need to panic just yet.

Eurgh that was not the result I wanted to see coming off of my night shift. Absolutely robbed, joke of a referee and a horrible, horrible goal to concede.

Things will never be that straightforward. Wolves lost 1-3 at home to Huddersfield tonight! Keep the faith, we have what it takes for automatic promotion!
