Actually just typing those there had me thinking...

We've played Blackburn, Boirnemouth and now have Brentford, Blackpool, Birmingham, Charlton and Cardiff!

Didn't realise they do the fixture list alphabetically in the Championship!

Obviously the fixture computer uses another word beginning with 'B' for Ipshit....now I wonder which one it could be????

Players like Whittaker, Garrido, O'Neil, Howson, Cuellar would walk into most teams in this division. And as it stands the-dont even get into that 18. For the record i really do rate Howson alot and once he gets his chance in the team he will be hard to leave out.

This Gary Gowers article sums it up. Adams really is spoilt for choice:

http://norwichcity.myfootballwriter.com/2014/09/07/a-long-week-awaits-as-team-adams-sweats-on-the-fitness-of-those-on-national-duty-and-ponders-the-starting-xi-for-cardiff/#ncfc

I still think that he'll go for pretty much the same line-up as Bournemouth but the depth of our squad is sending a clear message to the starting 11 of choice that poor performances/lack of effort won't be tolerated.

I also think that the Shrewsbury game will be the best opportunity to give Vadis, Hooiveld & McGrandles starts to really ramp the pressure up. Hopefully a decent cup run will keep our second string interested & sharp.

I would like to see a couple of changes only. Hooiveld in for Martin with Whits staying at RB and Jerome in for Hoolahan. A flatter 4-4-2 with Laffs on one side and Redders on the other, switching as needed. Don't see the need to change beyond that. Don't think it's a game for Hoolahan, although having him come off the bench once we have frustrated them might create openings. I suspect this will be a "hit them on the break" approach from us. But then I have no idea and will trust Neil to make the right choices.

Anthony Pilkington has apparently been pretty poor for Cardiff recently, but with the history he has for rising to the occasion it wouldn't surprise me if he plays a blinder this weekend

This is a tough game, if we play like we have been playing we just might get a draw.

Cardiff will be up for this and could be one of the hardest games we play this season.

So a draw from me. 1-1 maybe 2-2, cant see it being 1-0, as i see us scoring and letting one or two in.

My last trip to cardiff was a sickening experience as they were so poor.We are potentially much stronger this time around with a bench that will scare the bejeebers out of our rivals. I just hope that my 9 year old doesnt take it so badly if we lose this time especially as my cardiff supporting father in law will be sitting with us in the away end!

If we line Russell Martin up at CB against Kenwyne Jones, we could be in a spot of bother. I've only seen Cardiff once so far this year, but they constantly looked for his head, and he doesn't lose much in the air against anyone. Let alone those with poor heading ability.

If we get at them early I think their mentality is fragile enough to crack and they'll roll over.  Adams is very confident in his players ability so I'm positive we won't be playing a conservative/holding formation and strategy

I suspect we'll go with the usual 4-2-3-1, although i can see a change of personnel, with Wes probably the most vulnerable.

Personally. I'd like to see either Lafferty or Hooper in the hole behind Grabban, just to beef things up a bit and, perhaps more importantly, add a bit more of a goal scoring threat.

Is anyone on here travelling on the Club Coaches? I'm planning on getting ticket this afternoon but have never travelled on the coach and wondered what the atmosphere is like / rules around beers / etc... I'm guessing no open alcohol containers is the rule as per normal coach travel?

1) Anyone know if this is the featured game for the Football League Show, and therefore will there be streams available?

2) Get Turner to man-mark Jones and there shouldn't be a big a problem, Martin has the agility and reading of the game to sweep up behind.

3) I'd go with this team:

Ruddy

Whittaker Martin Turner Olsson

Johnson Tettey

Redmond Hoolahan Lafferty

Grabban

Subs: Rudd, Cuellar, Garrido, E. Bennett, Odjidja, Jerome, Hooper.

It's impossible to pick a squad that I'm happy with... in this version, look at the players who can't even get into the 18: Miquel, Hooiveld, O'Neil, Howson, McGrandles, Josh Murphy, Loza... we really are spoilt for choice. There's a 25-man squad there that has the quality to achieve mid-table security in the Prem with the right tactical balance. I just can't be pessimistic right now...

Well that's a crock of sh!t.
My next door neighbour (Barnsley fan) has just given me the URL of a website on which he reckons he could find just about every Barnsley game on obscure middle Eastern channels last season, and says that the usual suspects (e.g. front row sports) are rubbish for the Championship. This is how I remember it in our old League One days, being able to just about always find something, even if in arabic, so I'm crossing my fingers.

It is against the rules of this website and the law to share any URL to a stream, or to link to a streaming website homepage, but it isn't against the rules or the law to just mention a domain name... so for reference, the domain he gave me is Wiziwig.tv.

I suspect I'll be disappointed though!

I know precisely what this is supposed to represent, in my own mind

I don't get why they pick the featured game before any of them have been played when it's this early on in the season. Fair enough when it's in the later stages of the season, but at this stage I don't get why they pick the game before it's played. Surely they should just pick the best game.

It's about the media circus, not football, Din. Still ridiculous though!
