Josh Murphy take a bow!
What a goal, what a talent, and he's all ours.
Best youth player since Bellamy?

LOL.Yup, take that Grabban off.
Been poor all game, a deflected goal doesn't change that.Yup, take that Grabban off.
As long as he keeps scoring goals he is doing his job.Been poor all game, a deflected goal doesn't change that.
Grabban is certainly not a 'great' striker. This is what makes Grabban a great striker. He has a terrible game, misses a sitter, messes up a cut back.... and then creates a chance out of absolutely nothing and buries it.
As long as he keeps scoring he is, in my book.Grabban is certainly not a 'great' striker.
Agreed, and is exactly the reason he isn't 'great'. A decent Championship forward isn't 'great' by any means. That said, doubt he could do it in the league above.
Fine, he's a great championship striker and a bargain at £3m.Agreed, and is exactly the reason he isn't 'great'. A decent Championship forward isn't 'great' by any means.
As for Van Wolfswinkel, a little harsh comparing the two when you've stated you've got doubts as to whether Grabban could do it in the Prem too.
The problem I have with him is he always seems to miss 1-2 gilt-edged chances but then score the harder ones. If he were more clinical, he'd have about 4 more goals already. To be honest I agree that Grabban has been very poor, and if I were manager I probably would've taken him off a while ago. But as said above, that's what makes him a great striker. Yes he's been bad, and yes there was a big slice of luck attached to his goal, but the way he managed to find the space was top class.
Tbh, if he hadn't of scored I would've hoped that he was dropped for the Charlton game. He won't be now though after that, and rightly so.
I actually don't think that's harsh at all.As for Van Wolfswinkel, a little harsh comparing the two when you've stated you've got doubts as to whether Grabban could do it in the Prem too.
I hope not. Where would be the justice in that? Having played a major part in our relegation he scurries off to France because the Championship is 'not his level', then comes back expecting a place in the team at the expense of a player who helped get us promoted. Bad for team spirit. This could lead to a real conundrum if he does the business at St Etienne but chooses to return here with us in the Premier League (one would assume that even if St Etienne meet the buy out clause, he would still need to agree terms for the move to happen?).
Would we take Van Wolfswinkel back, at the expense of whichever strikers get us out of this league, or do we go with the players who get us up? How would that go down with the dressing room if he could waltz back into the team?
