Yes Kirku, Garrido imo is more level headed, good going forward and passes the ball well, its just comes down to personal tastes I guess.
Fair enough. Personally, I prefer Olsson. Was one of the few players to emerge from last year's debacle with some credit. Very quick, loads of stamina, strong in the tackle. Had a shocker against Wolves, mind.Yes Kirku, Garrido imo is more level headed, good going forward and passes the ball well, its just comes down to personal tastes I guess.
Thanks Jimmy, just hoped there might have been an understanding between them.He was why turner had to leave matt, effectively turners replacement!
I think Garrido can be forgiven for not being entirely match sharp after so long on the sidelines. I do agree that Olsson would be my first choice, but I would have thought we'll see a lot more squad rotation in the Championship given the increased frequency of fixtures, and I do think Garrido is a decent player in his own right.Crikey, I certainly can't agree Garrido over Olsson - he looked extremely cautious going forward against Watford and for me we also looked much better in the second half on Tuesday with Whitts on the left and Russell on the right. It will be interesting to see Cuellar, I've always though he was pretty decent - certainly the Villa fans gave him a decent send-off when he played his last game there.
I think it's gone to far now Wiz to be honest. With his training with the U21's and not being part of any first team activity all season, why would you risk bringing him back into the fold when everyone seems to be getting along so well. I think the priority will be getting rid of him before the transfer window shuts and if the rumours are true, I 100% support the manager in that.If Adams could get Bass back on side, that would be like and feel like a new top signing imo, in this league he'd be awesome.
Or are the hurts just to deep now on both sides?
You can't bring him back into the fold without Bassong sincerely apologising to Adams. Lots of evidence that suggests that Bassong tends to be lazy and arrogant in his abilities, but for all that he's a talented player and with a manager tough enough to keep him on his toes and who can earn his respect then, as Wiz says, he's a great asset. For his part, I think Adams is tough enough for a player like Bassong. The critical part is getting Bassong's respect. I would think that Adams good results of late and the high spirits in the squad, where he still has friends, might possibly be enough to make him waver in favour of getting back on board and I think Adams shows enough signs of being enough of a pragmatist to work with it, particularly if decent offers in the transfer window aren't forthcoming. All depends how stubborn he's going to be.I think it's gone to far now Wiz to be honest.
