Why do Fulham fans get "full match replays"

Fulham, like us, have played two Championship games - one against Millwall, and one against Ipswich.

On their official site you can find these:

Ipswich full match replay

Millwall full match replay

These appear to be posted the day after the match (Sunday if playing on a Saturday) and no payment or sign in is necessary (you can watch those yourself without logging in, just by following the link).

Excellent quality too.

Why don't Norwich fans have access to these full match replays, doesn't appear to be against Football League rules if Fulham are doing it?

Would absolutely love to have this available, we should tweet McNally from the official Norwich Talk account.

I had to pay £4.something for a months subscription to Canaries Player yesterday, and it was a little bit pants. Didn't escape me that I was paying for slightly extended versions of video clips which end up on YouTube anyway, and a BBC Radio Norfolk radio stream which we all pay to produce through our license fees already.

If the club made full match replays available then I'd comfortably pay £10 a month and that service would get many more subscribers - as this would be a service which appealed not only to those outside of the jurisdiction of Radio Norfolk, but also many fans in Norfolk, even season ticket holders who want to watch away games that they can't get to.

Club seems to be missing a trick here.

They don't seem to have a "Fulham Player" . I suspect that the club's contract with the providers of "CanariesPlayer" might prevent a similar system being available for us. Worth raising with the club though.

I can only think Fulham FC are enabling their fans to take masochism to a whole new level.

Think it's down to the contract we have with FLi, and another company called Perform... As far as I'm aware the club don't seem to want to renew with FLi and Perform when the contract is up and want something fresh including a new website too.

That's good news, the website is terrible

Neil Doncaster was a director of FLi, hope we aren't still locked into a contract that he signed us up to!

Agree with this. It would be a major boost to fans everywhere and wouldn't cost a fortune for the club to put into operation and if Fulham can do it, why can't we? As long as its recorded and not live, I can't see any reason for not doing it.

Although interestingly Ipswich do have an Ipswich Player, and yet the game at Portman Road is available on the Fulham website. Which I presume means that a full replay of our away game at Fulham on 18th October will be available to watch on Sunday 19th October.

Since City's player video's are now by and large free on YouTube I cancelled my renewal, however, full game playbacks would  encourage me to renew.

I subscribe to Player because I live out of the area, but it has seriously deteriorated over the past year or so. You can get the Radio Norfolk commentary a few minutes from the match starting, whereas you used to get a build up an hour before the match (you can still do that by getting Radio Norfolk on-line) but the score updates are very unreliable and the match statistics are more limited than they used to be. We also used to get much longer match highlights. Hopefully the new service will be better, as I have also been considering giving it up.

I too have cancelled my subscription due to the amount of stuff that is on the Youtube channel.

I would definitely subscribe at a higher rate for full game replays though.
