I'd have Jenkinson, could be a good player for Norwich. I agree a RB is definitely a priority.

The times are reporting that Sunderland agreed a £2m fee for Jenkinson who wants to stay in London - west ham looking to loan.

Could we be close enough to london to tempt him?   If that fee is right it seems like a sensible ask..

That is a £2m fee to loan him.

Weirdly, Sunderland have apparently bid £6m for Byram as well. Trippier is close to agreeing with Spurs.

Agreed RB is a priority, I wonder if Liverpool could be tempted to part with Jon Flanagan? Tiendalli would be surplus to requirements at Swansea.

 I always liked Cyrus Christie, loads of power and pace, but he didn't even get in the Derby side towards the end of the season.

Byram can be used down both sides and as a normal winger. Maybe that's what they're thinking with that.

If Tottenham do get Trippier, it would leave them with three out-and-out RBs (Walker, Trippier, Yedlin) and two they've deployed there this season (Dier & Chiricheş).

Realistically we couldn't sign any of them, but could loan. Ideally I'm not a fan of loans but could be an option.

I think Yedlin would be the likely loan candidate or they'll sell Walker. I could see Man City going in for him for the quota depending on what they think of Sagna.

Thing is, we will need cover and challengers in every position. I think there is definitely room there for a commanding centre back with Russ challenging for a place at centre back and right back.

I do wish we'd hurry up and sign some players!

I remember from the World Cup The States having an awesome-looking rightback - then he went off and the guy who replaced him looked even more awesome - Im pretty sure this was him, so based on that showing this could be interesting. Though Id prefer us to look to buy players rather than loan

Yedlin would also resolve the issue of Martin playing at CB and allow Whittaker to cover at LB if needed. Yedlin has 16 senior caps for the USA, which is good for a 21 year-old and he can also play as a WB or LW. In this case a loan makes sense.

Another left-sided CB to compete with Bassong would be good, letting Miquel get more experience on loan (assuming Turner leaves or is loaned out). I'd like to see Mulumbu competing with Tettey at DM (probably at the expense of O'Neil), but I'm less concerned about a LW because I think BJ will play on the left most of the time and Dorrans and Andreu can also play there. AM would still be my main priority though.

I'm sorry, but a couple of weeks ago somebody on here said that Mulumbu would be a good signing on a free, and suddenly he's set to sign, and only a couple of days ago somebody else on here just happened to mention that if Spurs sign Trippier then they'll have quite a few right backs, and suddenly Yedlin is being linked with a move Either it's lazy journalism, or Mr McNally is amongst us.

Don't know much about Yedlin myself apart from his ridiculous pace. Considering that Martin and Whittaker's main problem is dealing with pacey wingers (which there are plenty of in this league) then this would make sense as a signing. However his other defensive attributes are like I don't know.

Lol could you imagine that the club literally had no idea what to do in their board meeting when discussing transfers and then McNally pipes up going "I was on Norwichtalk last night and this poster called Din said we should sign Mulumbu!"
