Yes, it's a very bleak film though.  I think if I had to show someone a film that summarised "depression" it would be this one. I have however now learned "five hundred miles" on the guitar so there might be hope for these old gnarled fingers yet.

It is a great study in hopelessness, a failure to take responsibility and the impact of grief - hardly the premise for the jauntiest of films but thought provokingly portrayed.
