It's about the media circus, not football, Din. Still ridiculous though!
Unfortunately you're right. I didn't mind when we were in the Premier League because I go to every home game and I'd be able to stream every away game I couldn't get to, so I effectively saw all our games anyway. But now we've gone down it's near impossible to stream games unless they're on sky anyway.

I'm with you on this one, Din, but being an old-timer, I can remember when the only way to follow City was to listen to the BBC coverage and hope that ours was one of the 'featured matches', which meant a cursory update every half our or so. at least now, exiles like myself can get radio Norfolk on Canaries Player, but you're right - it's not the same as being able to see the match.

Fair enough, I've grown up and have always had some sort of highlights show to watch it on. Even if one of them was that god awful 'The Championship' with Matt Smith. Shows like Match of the Day and the FLS do annoy me, but I suppose at least we're able to see the highlights nowadays, and don't have to do what you used to do (which would drive me insane),and the club put extended highlights on youtube anyway, I'm just an impatient person  :D

Just watched an interview with Adams, who said that both Miquel and Hooiveld will be in the squad tomorrow. It would be odd to have 2 centre backs on the bench so my guess would be that one of them, probably Hooiveld, will start.

He also said that Hooper started training again this week, and Howson will start next week. So I doubt either will be involved tomorrow.

Din, I think what Adams means by that is they're in the travelling party. I believe we usually take 20 players on the coach, with two obviously missing out from the final 18.

The Cardiff fans are predicting a very close game but regard themselves as having a stronger squad and will beat us by a goal.. Is this our toughest game on paper?

As this is a game that I can take my son to I hope that they are wrong.

A bench of potentially Miquel, McGrandles, Vadis, Jerome,Murphy et al would suggest that we can have a say in this one.

Apparently Bet365 are streaming our game to non-UK customers. That means there may be streams available. Just want to emphasize the following to new members who may not have got around to reading the site rules:

  1. If there is a stream, enjoy it.
  2. But don't link to it from NorwichTalk.com. I'm 5ft 9" tall and 11.5 stone, not much of it is muscle - I wouldn't survive in prison.

I think that NA might include Hooiveld, to bolster the central defence and provide a threat at set pieces at the other end.

Otherwise I can't see much change. This is partly because several of the players are only just back from international duty, and have had no chance to train with the new players. There may be one or two changes on the bench.

But, like Lambert before him, NA is not afraid to change things, so we may be surprised.

Harsh on Whittaker but there's no room for sentimentality. Turner and Hooiveld should be a formidable pairing and Martin moves to what most people see as his strongest position. As long as Olsson's head is right we look stronger at the back than we have in a while.

Picked the starting eleven but expected Cuellar to be on the bench. Two full-backs and no CD is a little surprising.

I think Whittaker has been poor this year so absolutely delighted to see him dropped to the bench and Martin back at his strongest position. Hooiveld will bring some much desired experience to the team and happy to have Olson back at left back. I think we'll see Vadis come on quite early for Wes if we start to get overrun in midfield.

I like that team a lot.  Martin is better at RB for me, and Turner is solid with Hooiveld hopefully offering him some shouty guidance.  Olsson back for Garrido is a plus.  Tettey and Johnson mop up well in the centre midfield and then we have a balance of muscle (Lafferty),flair (Wes) and pace (Redmond) to feed Grabban.

Alternatively, we may see Lafferty up front and Grabban on the left if we're going to hold the ball a bit more.

And a strong bench with Ofoe poised for a debut if things go well (or we get swarmed).

Exciting times.

Ha ha, how much have I just cursed us?

OK so basically, I've found a stream. I can't link to it, but if you read this thread back through you will know where to look.

Yeah me too. Did you manage to get round Bet365's region blocking? I tried the usual things, opera turbo mode and hula unblocker and neither worked.

Earlier in this thread I said that my next door neighbour had given me an insight into his *ahem* 'browsing habits', read that post again.
