Bit of a con putting it in sports and not too sure if there'll be any other fans about, but here goes nothing.

I'm a fan, so you aren't the only one.  Nice to see local girl Paige doing well for herself.

Yeah I'm enjoying her and AJ feuding at the moment. I just wish there was more women in the company that could be taken seriously. Get sick of all the hair pulling and what not. And stop calling them divas ffs.

Im a fan too, got to love Paige, especially now they've learnt how to pronounce Norwich, its not Nor-Witch, used to drive me up the wall when they'd say that

Watching Raw from last night. It's kind of hard to buy into this big match at Summerslam when neither Cena nor Lesnar appears on Raw. As good as the pre recorded promo was, it's not enough. Aside from that, both Bellas are so terrible at what they do it's really quite embarrassing, Brie especially seems to have decided that shouting the last word of any sentence (usually bitch) makes for good work on the mic.

Also, has anybody noticed that Dean Ambrose's theme is horribly close to Chris Benoit's? Thought someone would have picked up on that.

Anyway, that's all the moans for now ha.

Cena's really trying his best, i wouldn't be surprised if he's injured again before Summerslam - He's trying to pull out some more extreme technical moves and we all know he struggles to run without his ankles twisting over.

I didn't like the Bella's, but must admit i really liked the whole Steph getting arrested thing, if only for the two guys set up to stand behind her with their mouths as wide open as they could possibly get them,  Great TV! :)

I know he's off doing a movie or something while he's off RAW. If he ever makes it as an actor I can see him going the way of The Rock given how beat up he is he may well jack it in.

Just seen the last segment of RAW, thank god for Stephanie because Brie was just horrible.

He likes the kids too much to leave WWE i think, he'd have to go out on a stretcher would be the only way.

And i don't mean the kid comment as a joke, i genuinely feel that he believes in what he says in that ring and that it's doing some good.  He's a nice guy, but boy he's hell of a chip on his shoulder, i think he actually believes he was raised in the ghetto and he's got to spread the 'right way' to people around the world.

Alberto Del Rio released for unprofessional conduct and an altercation with an employee. Can't wait to hear the story behind this.

Wow, wonder what happened, they didn't even wish him luck in their statement, must be pretty serious whatever he's done.

Just started watching RAW from last night. Heyman's opening promo was absolutely incredible, as per usual.

Getting through it. Stephanie brilliant again.

Don't like how they're booking Rollins at the moment, but I think it's just me. Finding all his matches very dull, which is a shame as he's stupidly talented. Ambrose has been fantastic though.

I haven't watched WWE since it was WWF and The Rock and Stone Cold were big players. Heard that referred to as the attitude era, but it was bloody good entertainment. With the whole bossman getting hung from the cell, the buried alive matches etc etc, heard it's a lot more family friendly now? which really puts me off to be completely honest.

I agree - I grew up in the attitude era too and since it went pg13 its been naff. (Actually been naff since they acquired wcw and had no serious competiton). I watched it earlier for first time in a while as I'm ill on holiday and only have 3 English channels in hotel. Roman reigns should be the new face of the franchise. He is a character they can build the brand around. Reminds me of Kevin Nash in the wolfpack days. Allegedly sting has finally signed for them which will give them a temporary boost but if they're to endure, they need to stop wheeling out the old guard from 10years ago and build for the future. Cena is done now, as is Kane. Orton has a few years of mileage left, why the hell are they putting Brock lesnar back in he's had some criminal matches in recent years!? I swear I saw mark henry on screen too - he was **** 10 years ago! Gold dust is still ace though lol.. First time for years theyve had characters worth bothering with... The usos, Wyatt family, Roman reigns, is where they need to build the brand moving forward.

Glad del Rio is gone, never understood why he got so much airtime, boring wrestler and boring on the mic. Slapped a media boss apparently (although rumour is it was in response to media boss being racist! Sounds like wwe could be on thin ice).

The plan is for Roman Reigns to be "the guy" but you can't just shove the title on him and go, there you are. They have to build him. Lesnar will win the title on Sunday and hold it til next Wrestlemania, Roman Reigns will have a couple of feuds to build his character (starting with Orton),win the Rumble and beat Lesnar at Mania. Then he's there.

Also, Lesnar has done some pretty decent stuff and is a believable monster heel at a time when decent heels are severely lacking.

Aside from that, The Usos have had the titles for an age, and are getting great PPV booking at the moment, so they're going with them as well. The Wyatts too have just come off a big feud with Cena (who whatever anyone says is still the man at the moment) and now are going with Jericho, so they can't really be accused of not pushing them either.

There's still tons of talented guys there though, Cesaro/Rusev/Ziggler/Barrett to name a few (and AJ/Paige are dragging the women's division back up). If you liked the actual wrestling rather than the crazy storylines of the Attitude Era there's still plenty to be had now.

Aye, wasn't accusing them of not building around those characters, just an observation that those guys are the future. I still don't like lesnar. The triple h match at wrestlemania was so poor last year. Ziggler is good, as is Barrett (in the 'bad news' guise) I find Cesaro dull, and Rusev is talented but they're selling him short with such a wafer thin 'character'. I get Vena is still the face of the brand but I find his brand tired although there's no doubt he is talented (although the way he sells moves is ridiculously overacted). Women's division has no depth, wwe have been more about pretty faces than talent for last 15years. Hopefully they are turning the corner now and getting the division to have a purpose again rather than being an annoying interruption.

I get what you mean about crazy storylines of attitude but that's not my angle. I miss the brutal matches before pg13. Hhh vs cactus jack in the street fight, some of the brutal hell in a cells of that era etc. Now its all a bit nicey nicey.

Watching Summerslam this morning. Solid intercontinental title match and nice to see Ziggler pick up the title. I think Miz did a good job too though, he gets such a hard time from a lot of fans, but I think he's decent.

Paige won too, which I am ecstatic about, just roared at the tv! Norwich girl done good!

Next two matches not as good. Rusev/Swagger seemed a bit stop start, and I don't know why they decided on a lumberjack match for Rollins/Ambrose, because they really struggled to put together a match worthy of their talents.

Didn't think Bray Wyatt/Jericho was going too well until the last 5 minutes when Bray really pulled some good stuff out of the bag. Hope they put a title on him soon.

Steph/Brie was horrible as expected, but didn't think they'd turn Nikki so soon. I'm not happy about it because it means we'll be subjected to double the amount of Bellas stinking up PPVs.

Reigns/Orton was what it was. I struggle to get too excited by them tbh.

Cena/Lesnar was a horrible match but the storytelling was amazing. It had to happen like that really as the whole character of Lesnar/Heyman is that they say they're gonna do something, then they go and do it.
