Yes it will be nice if the window closes and he's still a Norwich player.

We'll need promotion to extend his stay though and even then we might not as he is quite clearly a cut above.

As I said to a couple of mates earlier today "Probably the best player in the league".
Fast approaching the Emi Buendia status of too good for this league.

No mate, I don't think so...

After the game yesterday I read that we're not expecting any more incoming players.
Not sure if that still stands should we sell any players but it's just what was said.
No9 , in view of what has gone on since you posted this at the beginning of the month, do you think what you read came from the disinformation department at CR, via a tame journalist? There are quite a few of those about locally.

I have heard a rumour a midfielder will be arriving in the next few days...

I can't remember who said it, my gut says Wagner but I'd need to check.
The journalists covering City is an interesting point though, as you've alluded to.
The Pinkun has gone very City friendly and raises questions about journalistic integrity and Bailey has been shifted somewhat because of our lowly league position.
Difficult to get decent information these days.

No9 - Bailey who? I appreciate fully that the ECN titles get a lot of copy from NCFC, but I glimpsed on a Paddy Devitt byline a few weeks ago the word "embedded". When I went back to check it, it had disappeared. I cannot remember the last time a press conference was anything but a press release. No-one ever asks penetrating questions such as "If Stuart Webber is leaving at the end of this year, as an effectively lame duck sporting director, how much input is he currently having into decisions about this season and the longer future?" If the answer is very little, why is he still there? I am not holding my breath waiting for the Pink'un, EDP or EEN to ask that question. By the way trying to get access to the pinkun site to register to contribute is impossible.

Looks like your source is pretty reliable, seems like a sensible addition to the squad
Yeah, has had injuries, but on a short term contract and free transfer, he could be handy cover for Sara and Mclean. Makes me wonder if Sorenson injury is longer term than they are admitting?

Good experience too though.

I've doubts about signing players with horrendous injury records a la Sam Byram & Matt Jarvis etc.
It's only a one year contract so limits our financial commitment but how much will he actually play?

You have to have a squad. And you also have to have players that are happy to be part of it, without starting every week.
