And some players will be suited to the league above, and some won't. Onel being on loan last season being a prime example. The club ain't looking at it like that,
Plan A - Preparation for Premier League
Plan B - Preparation for Championship
Slightly different in that these are out of contract and the reason they've not been renewed is wages. And some players will be suited to the league above, and some won't. Onel being on loan last season being a prime example.
Some of them haven't proved themselves up to it in the Championship. It's now being said that Webber will be speaking to the players on diminishing contracts next week or two and decisions will be made by the end of the year.
I find this quite worrying, let's face it apart from Todd, who you'd expect to leave anyway, the rest of them haven't proved themselves up to it in the Premier League.
Why would you want to extend their contracts, Teemu will be past it, Byram can't walk past the physio without buying a season ticket and the likes of McLean, Dowell, Onel, Sinani etc just aren't good enough for where the club has said it wants to be.
That will upset a few peopleGood news!
Send him on loan to LivingstonGood news!
It all sounds a bit bizarre doesn't it.Doesn't sound like Mr Cantwell is exactly presenting a good case for a new contract...
Just read the reports, obviously with Todd being out of contract in the summer we're not likely to get anything worthwhile back from a transfer fee this window.Rumours of Cantwell to Rangers.
Bloody hell, if he thinks he gets a hard time here...
I couldn't really care less frankly. He has had enough chances. Unless he can magically re-invent himself under Wagner, he should just go.Just read the reports, obviously with Todd being out of contract in the summer we're not likely to get anything worthwhile back from a transfer fee this window.
Don't know what to make of it really.
