After returning from my travels I make my triumphant return to CR tomorrow, to be delighted by beautiful football.

West Brom not in too dissimilar form to us, please God don't let this be a boring draw!

Brom have a worse away record than our home record.
It's worried me how much Wagner was going on about beating Bristol Rovers, & how we've won two in a row.
It was mid table, third division Bristol Rovers that we took two goes at getting past, goodness knows how he's gonna set the team up against West Brom, or what the result will be.

You raise an interesting point, let me explain further.

I was chatting to some friends the other day, and they have a very similar opinion to you. Basically nothing Norwich City does, even winning, makes them happy, which I find really odd. Its like they have decided to be miserable, regardless of what happens, until Wagner is sacked. He's here for the season, time to get used to it ;)

We've seen what he can do, he needs to go. Yeah I'm happy to win but it's pointless at the moment, win, draw or lose, it's not sustainable for the future, we won't be surviving in the PL with Wagner as manager.
I can see reasons why he'd be here til the end of the season though, & obviously have an interest in the transfer window because of the manager situation.

I would say it is best we worry about surviving in the Prem if, and when, we get there.

But seriously, I know people who aren't even happy if we win. I just don't get the "logic". Is it because us winning somehow proves their opinion wrong? They spend more time with mental gymnastics trying to prove that we only won because the other team were so poor, than actually focussing on the few good things we actually do. Maybe the last ten years has spoiled us, and some have become a bit entitled?

Nowt as queer as folk!

I am off to Carrow Road in a bit. Can't say I am hopeful that it will be an enjoyable experience but, you never know.

Enjoyable. A good win over a top 6 team, clean sheet and 3 well earned points. A good shift from all. Well done lads, you've sent a lot of people home happy with your afternoons work. There a still a few really unhappy coaches and tacticians pounding away on their keyboards. Clowns

Credit where credit is due. A win over a top six team and a clean sheet. Onwards and upwards with away victories at Leeds and Liverpool.

Lots of things to like here.

A controlled performance, urgent when it needed to be, solid when required. Firstly, we are so much better defensively, sure they had chances, but nothing particularly clear, and when they did break through, especially in the second half, Gunn was in fine form to deny them. There is a confidence and assurance about our defending, that is calm and not panicked.

I thought Kenny Mclean was outstanding today and should have easily been man of the match, if it wasn't for the fact that Jack Stacey's mum clearly picked it. Sainz was also excellent. I don't even need to mention Rowe.

But the most pleasing for me was Josh. His energy up front is key to the whole thing working, and although he didn't last the whole game, his contribution, and goal, was fantastic.

I will definitely give praise to the general game management by Wagner too, he made the right subs, at the right times, and there was definitely a point, sometime after 80 minutes, where West Brom just looked beaten, and out of ideas.

Satisfying on many counts. And whatever you think of Wagner, just enjoy it.

Everyone seems really pleased with this win, it wasn't a surprise win thought, West Brom have a poor record away from home, far poorer than our home record.
There's still a huge dichotomy between the pinnacle of Wagner ball & the stated aims of Knapper.
A huge difference between the conceding possession and hitting on the break compared with maintaining possession and developing a passing game.
Still Wagner out for me.
