I reckon we can get something here, hopefully there will be good news re injuries from the presser.

Is this the last game of Borja's suspension?

Jurasek should be available after this game too.

Watford is the 4th of his 6 game ban.
Watford is my home town so I’m travelling down from the Wirral tomorrow afternoon and coming back Saturday evening.
My mates are happy that Sainz is missing after his performance in the 4-1 in September but I’ve reminded them that Josh enjoys scoring against them!

Another early game which means pub to watch the second half. On the positive side that means beer!!

My son is going in the home fans….last time he did that was at QPR so not exactly a good omen! We are more than capable of getting a result though.

No good injury news for this week, although looks like Nunez and Ben Slimane should be available for Derby (plus Jurasek, as you say). Then Forson a couple of weeks, Forsyth longer (tbc),and Springett out for the season. By the time we face Preston we should have pretty much a full squad to choose from (new injuries/suspensions notwithstanding, of course).

What are we thinking for tomorrow?

Same lineup or does Cordoba come in, with Doyle going LB in place of Mahovo? Presumably, Crnac held in reserve again for 2nd half, as we don't really have another option for Sargent when he is withdrawn around 60 mins.

I think I prefer Doyle at CB instead of LB?
Definitely. He gets sucked in too centrally (or is told to do that!) when he plays at LB. Chrisene hasn't been on the greatest of form, so I'd go with the same back four as last weekend.

I'd be surprised to see a change in defence, unless it's Stacey for Fisher. Mahovo deserves to keep his place and Doyle is clearly more of a centre back than a left back.

Sargent should get more minutes, also, despite his detractors, Dobbin did well ,IMO last Saturday.
It seems we are better when Marcondes is on form, he seems to make our offence tick.

I don't disagree with any of the above, but I was just wondering what JHT might be thinking, given that Watford away might not be the best place for an inexperienced Mahovo to start - harsh though that might be.
Won't be long until we find out.

All the best to anyone travelling tomorrow!

I dunno, the return fixture was when Fisher was given his first start of his extended run, and that was up against Ken Sema, one of the most physically powerful wingers you're ever going to see.

Thorup strikes me as a coach who would seldomly worry about inexperience in a player, based on what we've seen in his time here and what I've read about his time at Nordsjaelland.

We have scored 8 goals against Watford in the last two matches we have played them. Let's hope we keep up our keep goal scoring record
