Big Phil being cagey in the presser re the fitness of Diallo and Makama, have seen rumours that they were both just knocks, hopefully correct. Jurasek out for 9 or 10 weeks. Guess thats another season written off for him.

I'm taking a trip to Oxford, I'm owed a win, I went there last season for the opening game, full of new season optimism, then Jonny Rowe spat his dummy out just before kick off and we sank to a miserable defeat.

I'd like to think we can get something from this.

Hope you get the result M.
No idea who will play upfront. Perhaps Kvist may get a start.
I'm hopeful for a good result (then, since PC arrived in hopeful every game tbf).

I would have thought Kvist would play some part. I liked what I saw with Toure though. Could just have been the excitement of his first game though.

Oxford have to come out if they want to stay up, that should be to our advantage although I think it will be a harder game than Saturday

Nice photo - this is a group enjoying themselves. Pleased you got your win at Oxford. Never in doubt really from the first minute.
Thought McConville and Cordoba were magnificent, likewise Chrisene was a good outlet. And an assist by a goalkeeper! Quite interesting to see that Grimshaw often went long with his kicking and actually I enjoyed that aspect of the game, probably because it was a change.
The possession play was also accomplished. And a hat trick too for Toure. He looked strong in the pre signing YouTube clips and he looks much the same in yellow and green.

Absolutely dominant from minute one. I know Oxford are in the doo doo, but we barely gave them a sniff. I just looked at the possession stats and we had 60.3%, I genuinely thought it would be higher, they just couldn't get the ball off us, and every time we lose it there is a player snapping into a tackle to win it back. Whether or not big Phil being an ex defender is the reason, our defensive unit is just so incredibly well organised now, nothing seems to phase us, and Grimshaw barely had any saves to make last night.

This really is nothing short of a miracle, the manager has drilled a winning mentality into every single player, nobody hides on the pitch and everyone wants the ball, all the time.

8 points outside the play offs...

When Toure first came on against Blackburn I thought he looked out of his depth :D. Another good performance all round, this is the second game where the opposition hasn't looked good and I'm starting to think that's because we make them look poor. You could hear our support all night Morty, it's becoming a good time to watch our team again, what a massive change
