Well considering the announcement from Klopp that he is leaving at the end of the season, I expect this to be an absolute Klopp wankfest and a sound beating.

Suarez hat trick incoming.

DW: “Jonny Rowe has broken a bone in his hand. He will miss the game on Sunday and maybe Coventry. He does not need a surgery but we need to investigate it further once the swelling goes down.”

Grant Hanley is available. Josh Sargent will not be in the squad, so he can rest and prepare for Coventry.

DW on Anfield test: “It’s not a free hit. It’s a game in a different competition. It will not change what happens in the Championship season. We will embrace the occasion and go for it.”

DW reflection on Leeds: “Elements that are good and some that are not so good. We lost and this is frustrating. We can take the positives and negatives, so we can improve.”

DW on Placheta: “I don’t know at the moment. Everything is quiet at the moment and this is the truth. Maybe something accelerates in the last days.”

DW on Rowe speculation: “He is super cool and behaves older than 20 in a lot of situations. You have seen this in recent performances. Maybe not Leeds, but certainly the games before.”

Lot's of people worried about Jonny being off with a broken bone in his hand. Seems to be two camps, either he should play regardless or he's not playing because he's leaving this transfer window.

Bit shocked that Josh isn't even in squad especially with Rowe missing. Where are our goals going to come from??

I remember watching us beat the Reds when they were celebrating the anniversary of the Kop. Maybe we can be party poppers again.

Not sure we want a pillock like him on our side. Him and his brother have weird obsession with Liverpool considering they stole their sound from the Beatles

Was always going to be tough, but shooting yourself in the foot, defensively, is never going to help.

We look a far, far poorer team without Rowe and Sargent.

We kept giving them the ball. I'm sure Gibbs would have been better than Nunez. Kenny tried hard but Barnes was poor.

We were asking for trouble at times but Liverpool are decent tbf.

On the big stage though, Sainz showed he's a bit of a player.

I mean I understand why they played Barnes, but it would have been a very different game had Josh played. I guess the thinking is that we all knew we were going to get beaten, and in the grand scheme of things, the league matters more.
