Another early kick off! Which I am now home for, yay!

On Long... "He's improving, he's a great player for the environment but he also pushes for that goalkeeper position. He's taken some good steps, he's a fantastic person, his professionalism, how he behaves and supports other guys."

On José... "Better than expected, most likely to be in the squad for tomorrow but it'll be a late call."

On Barnes... "It's never easy to be out, no matter what he does, he'll feel a little outside the team. You're not involved in the fun parts, but he's a good guy, he's always around trying to support his team-mates and we involve him as much as possible."

On the schedule... "Tuesday took a lot out of us. We've had a day more in between compared to the Derby and Leeds games. I think we've used the time well, but like I said to the guys, expect there to be changes in the game, earlier substitutions."

On Hull... "Three wins in a row, in-form. I think they've done well, it's one of the games that'll be different this season. They're built in a different way to other teams, a lot of rotations, a lot of movement, it will take a lot of concentration."

On playing style... "We are getting better and better, our high pressing this season has been good. We spoke after Leeds how we can still take more initiative without the ball. That takes a lot of focus and a lot of awareness."

On Hull... "It's an important one, at home again. We want the give the fans an experience, a win, a great performance. It gives us a good lead in to the next block."

JHT: “I’ve been sitting here for weeks and saying it will take time. I and we still have an obligation to perform each week. I still have the ambition now that this team can be even better.”

JHT on first team coach search: “We are down to a couple of candidates and we started with a few more. We are getting close and I saw some media stories on one of the candidates. We took a decision to narrow it down to two.”

On Minute's Unsilenced... "It's fantastic, it says a lot about who we are as a club. We need to show that we are out there offering support, not just in football but by using it as a platform. The stuff we are doing tomorrow is hopefully going to support in a good way

On Abu Kamara... "I hope he is shown respect, I know there was a lot said in the media about him. It's a tricky situation to be in as a football player, I always want the best for the players that have been here."

An old chap out in the wilds of Romania, drooling over that performance . Super afternoon, watching a super performance from the boys in yella. What's not to like. We've come a long way in a few weeks. Light years away from the bilge Smith and Wagner used to expect the fans to applaud.. Hope you all had a great afternoon watching, mind you, still some critics over there, must have given all their happy pills to the dogs. Quite a few Kamara fans { who he ?) over there, who think he was hard done by and should be in our squad/team. time for a bit of sipping stuff. enjoy your evening

I'm not going to lie, this feels like the real deal. I think we have upgraded players in the positions we needed to, and I think there is real quality there. Players look confident and assured on the ball, and comfortable in the roles they have been given. Our short passing is a joy to watch, and our transitions from defence to attack are slick and effective. Every player knows exactly what he is meant to be doing and makes good decisions.

I have had a bet on us getting promoted.
