Leeds sit top of the form table for home form, winning 5 and drawing 1 in the last 6. Our injury situation just seems to get worse and worse.

So based on those things, I am going for a surprise away win.

To be fair to Morty, with nothing to lose given our injuries, it is the kind of game where the unthinkable could happen.

On any new injury concerns... "No fresh ones to report but also, no new ones coming back, so it will be the same group of players travelling to Leeds."

On Amankwah Forson... "No timeline, it's about when he can manage the pain. "It's been difficult for him to stretch the leg and even walk, so it's an injury where we just have to wait and see. "It could be two days, it could be two weeks."

On a busy week... "It's about surviving the next games without picking up too many injuries. "Duffy, Kenny and Stacey can normally play a three game week, so those are the ones that need to take probably a little bit more responsibility."

On Sheffield United... "Shots on target isn't important for me, it's important for us to get into the areas, like the penalty box, where the chances of scoring are even higher. "That's how we look at it offensively."

On playing out from the back... "The game starts with us being on the ball and trying to dominate. "We want a game we can control, with less duals and less random, that's the reason why we do it. "It's a difficult thing to do, it takes a lot of courage and personality."

On Angus Gunn... "The save just before half-time on Saturday was very important. "I think he could have done better with the first goal, but that's on us and our responsibility as coaches. "He is committed and eager to learn to take the next steps in his career."

On Leeds... "If we look at them, they are up there on defensive and offensive stats, thats the reason they are top of the table. "It's fair to say they are the toughest test for us at the moment but that's what makes it exciting.
Say what you want about this, but I think we can beat anyone in the league. "That's the motivation I have to bring to the players and I see the same in their eyes. "We know it's going to be difficult but its an exciting test."

On similarities with Daniel Farke... "I can only see that fans are supporting us, 2,000 were at Sheffield United which is fantastic and their support after, even though we lost, was fantastic. "There's a lot of positive energy from fans towards us; they can see we are in a situation where we are struggling with player availability, but they have expectations and we will do everything we can to live up to them. "With (Farke) I think it was similar, which is why i think he is such a great coach."

On the fans... "You can't underestimate how much it means to a club that there is a lot of support from the fans. "I try to be as open and honest as possible because we have to keep them on board; they are a big part of this club, we cannot succeed if they are not with us."

Massive decision Morty, New Orleans or Leeds. I know it's work, but I know which one I would do. Hey Ho, Hey Ho, and it's off to work you go. Safe journey Morty

Better than the last time we played them there in terms of goals against, at least.
We didn't put them under any pressure whatsoever but overall, as they didn't get out of 2nd gear at all, we were quite comfortable. Lol

That attacking lineup was never going to scare the Leeds defense. We really aren't in a good place right now ...glad I'm far away from it in Liberia this week.

What's with all this scattering to all corners of the globe?

I know it's frightening at the moment, but behind the sofa is as good a place as any!

Well, that was a better watch than the Sheffield game, Still not convinced Doyle is worth big money, still think maybe Crmac ought to go on loan to a good div 1 club or a good somewhere club that plays football, not kick and rush stuff.
Young lads got a lot to learn, but I think they are doing that.
Refs still look as though they did their schooling out here
. We have been getting a lot of Saudi games out here during the winter break, that's painful to watch

My take on Doyle is that he has likely cost us 3 goals in the last two games

Due to his lack of pace, he has a tendency to back off into a 'comfortable' defensive position. In both Sheff Utd goals he was backing away from the play, probably playing the scorer onside.

Against Leeds, he chose to leave the ball to Dan James and take up a 'defensive' position, despite being well placed initially to block or delay his direct run.

A shame really because he has been a good (albeit temporary) addition to the squad this year.

I like Doyle because he's got a good football brain. But he is horrendously slow and it does cause us problems.

Then you get Cordoba who is a bit more of an athlete but causes us problems because he doesn't have as much of a football brain.

As for the Leeds game, that starting line up told everyone we weren't going to cause Leeds any serious problems. Not really good enough from the club tbh.
