Back to league business after the cup distraction, and this is a strong test, Coventry are in good form. However we are too, see tables below comparing their away form to our home.

Big question is will we have a new striker on the bench!?

DW on Rowe and Sara: “It would be a big statement (to keep them). I’m happy when the window is closed and everything is calm again”

DW: “Last time (Summer deadline) it was late at night before an away game against Rotherham. When we went to the dinner the squad looked different than when we went to breakfast the next day. Ben (Knapper) and his team are working hard for every scenario.”

DW on Deadline Day: “We experienced last summer that the last six hours can be crazy. We hope this isn’t the case, but who knows.”

DW on Placheta: “It is likely he leaves. This is not done, so I won’t speak about it.”

DW on Coventry: “They are a top team offensively. They have only been beaten once in the past thirteen, I think. We must be very concentrated in all departments. It will be a super good test for us and we hope to get a positive result.”

DW on Mark Robins: “What he has done is remarkable. When you stay at a football club as long as he has this automatically means you have done a good job. Coventry is not the most sexiest of clubs, or even a big team in this league, but they have done some good business.”

DW: “You have to speak honestly about what you can do better. We were not clinical against Leeds, but we were very clinical against Liverpool. Only Fulham have scored more at Anfield, I have heard. We have to make sure we improve in all departments.”

DW: “The game on Saturday feels big and this is the truth. The game against West Brom, Leeds and Hull were all as big. We can only focus on the next game. We need to make sure nobody enjoys to play against Norwich City at this stage of the season. On upcoming games... "The game on Saturday feels big, but the truth is we have 17 games left which is massive. "We are in and around the mix, three points behind play-offs."

Giving some injury updates, the head coach confirmed that Danny Batth and Jonny Rowe will miss out on Saturday's clash:

"Danny will be back in training next week and is working with the fitness department. Jonny Rowe will miss the Coventry match with a broken hand but will be back in training next week," he said.

"Shane Duffy is back in training and Sarge is also training and in contention for Saturday. Everyone else is available."

Well, I enjoyed that. A good win, some pleasing play at times. Don't know what happened at half time, but took the boys a while to get going again. Super Sarge, Super Sainz, he's a busy chap isn't he? Super cool assist from Mr. Barnes, that.s what the old fella brings to the game. Top Gunn. Glad they gave Mr Hoyjdonk a couple of minutes Impressed with Coventry, kept going to the end, without any play acting or thuggishness. Well done all, fans seemed happy too

A point worth making, we won, and we won well.

Without our top scorer and golden boy...

Sainz looks like he is going to be an exciting watch if we hang on to him for at least a couple of seasons. Skillful, busy and not afraid to get stuck in. Him, Sarge and Rowe are looking like they can sneak us into the play-offs.

When you've seen videos of Arsenal and Chelsea players completely ignoring mascots it's really nice to see our players all sparing a few seconds just to make their day
