On squad update... "No real concerns, we now have a couple of days of training to prepare and develop and improve. Coming out of the game Sunday, players are feeling well."

On injuries... "Fassnacht and Springett have been back in with the group. Springett has been fighting hard to come back. "We've had a good amount of players in training this week. It's important for us to have options."

On Núñez and Barnes... "Marcelino, we have to be careful with, it's for us to make a decision when he is a little closer to a return. "Barnsey is the same, he will be with the group after international break."

On Gunn... "Angus is another one we don't want to bring back too early. We are assessing at the moment."

On Middlesbrough... "Some games are just a huge step in where we want to go and building a culture here. "The team spirit and mentality in the group is fantastic."

On McLean's red card... "The rules are as they are, of course we follow the rules. It's three games for a situation where it's maybe in between a red and yellow."

On Sørensen... "We have to look at every possibility, he's a player where he will definitely have minutes in the coming weeks, we will just have to find out where that will be."

On Saturday's captain... "The player chosen will be one of the players in our leadership group but we haven't fully decided yet. We still have to hear from some of the players first too."

On Sainz... "How I see football is what you do as a collective unit is to create the best possible opportunities for the players that can decide the games for you. I cannot sit here as a coach and take the credit for how he is finishing and his individual quality; that's down to him. "He's doing everything he can to say as fit and as sharp as possible. Don't forget he is playing near to 90 minutes every game."

On Cardiff... "They are in form at the moment and it's going to be a tough one for us."

On Sargent... "I spoke to him the other day about how we need him more involved, we need him for our performance in the games. "We have started this week to create some patterns that involve him a little bit more. There's more to come and it's for us as coaches to open up that door for him."

On the fans and their support continued... "We try to be as open and honest as possible; when we're not playing well we address it and when we play well we do the same. "When people feel that, they feel connected closer.
We have to connect the club to the fans, because it's everyone together. "On Sunday the place was on fire, I can't even imagine what it feels like to be a player on that pitch."

A much changed side with the news that Sarge didn't travel with the team, he has a groin injury, and is having a scan on Monday, it doesn't sound too hopeful. No sign of Nunez or Gunn yet, and Mclean on the naughty step. Also Slimane missing with a hamstring injury that they have been managing a bit.

I managed to watch the game by ahem, completely legal means and we made Cardiff look pretty ordinary and of course Borja scored a worldie, it isn't even a surprise any more. It all started to go a bit Pete Tong with the changes the manager made, if I'm honest it felt like he tinkered a bit much. We were worth the win, we were definitely worth the draw, we certainly didn't deserve to lose.

Slightly worrying times with the injuries. I thought Crnac and Marcondes were decent, in fact the first 11 we put out held their own. Just the tinkering.

Injuries piling up, the Mayor getting that stupid suspension and today a bad one at the office for JHT. We are a striker light if Josh out for a while as no obvious stand in. Need to respond well against the Owls next week.
