It's been weird all year. It didn't work at all for a week at Christmas. Now I can't reply to anything. I'd gone off it anyway when they binned off non football and now ive lost patience with it and will be here/other forums

(With the other forums it's not a competition it's more a case of not just relying on one place)

Its pretty much collapsed and needing a rebuild - I suspect the owners are squabbling about IT tech hours and costs needed to unglitch it

Agree with all of this R.
It's had 502, 404, 402 notices for a very long time. Well over 5 years.

I'm the same with other forums and I lost faith with the Pinkun completely in the decision about non football. It effectively just wiped away long standing supporters. Appalling treatment ...and enough to make me leave in protest and moreso, as a matter of principle (I think anyway).

I still read it because I like so many posters on there having been a member myself for over 20 years. Yet I do get fed up with some bitter petty rivalries between posters. And I get fed up of reading how important the forum is for Newsquest only for the experience of it to be so shabby.

Many supporters are appearing here and in OTBC. I welcome that greatly and hope many more migrate because it would be good to communicate again with them. I don't think I'm alone in thinking that either as I've read similar comments.

Perhaps a long term strategy is that a poor product drives people away (as it would I'm any business) and they can end the message board? Yet, I can't believe that really because surely an active forum would more kindly generate revenue for the journalism! I think they've got their priorities all wrong. Imagine being AWOL over the whole Xmas period so no-one could post. Quite telling. Actions not words.

Can't use it properly at all. Almost as if the forum has disintegrated into constituent parts and make it infinitely clunkier to read.

It's absolutely unusable, it's like someone turned back the clock and the internet is running from the 90's!!
