Why do bank cards print the number in silver raised letters that wear off and become difficult to read within a few months?

Does anyone know if it has been turned off or is it a tech issue and the techy gang are on holiday for Christmas and will look at it in the new year ?

There's no way of checking really.
I'll continue to keep having a look...

I would have assumed that the usual suspects, who have the moderators on speed dial, would have been in touch with them...

There's no way of those then passing that information on to us mere mortals.

It’s nice being able to click ‘like’ on people’s posts without worrying whether you’re about to exhaust your ‘like’ ration for the day…

It most certainly is. You finish up clicking like somewhere, it says you’ve run out and you have to review the things you’ve already liked and see if there’s something you like less to unlike so you can like the thing you want to like.

It often happens to me on game days.

Obviously I'm biased, but from a functionality point of view, this is a far superior forum. In fact I think it was this place opening that prompted the pinkun to upgrade some years ago. Still not as good as here though.

The colour scheme wins it for me.

I never got to like rationing. Perhaps I'm too grumpy!

Got a new match on Tinder. Looking at the options when I looked at her profile, one was ‘share Marian’.

That struck me as rather presumptive before even saying hello though.

Seems like the way they do things in France

I've always made a small opening in the foil cover that's used in instant coffee jars...enough to allow a small amount to go into the cup and importantly, for a lazy bastard like me, not to have to resort to using a spoon. I've done this for the 30 plus years whenever I've been the first to open a new jar. Always, and I mean always, when I've gone to make my second cup the foil had been completely removed by Mrs S. I've quietly shaken my head each time and said nothing (there's more important things in life) until ....last week when I've explained why I've done it upfront. A week later and the foil is still intact!
