He seems to be getting good game time alongside our summer signing, Louis Thompson.

Encouraging, if only for what it reveals about Alex Neil and his approach - both on and off the field

On current information and performances, I'd much rather we went into the season with Toffolo playing until Olsson is fit again, rather than spending anywhere from 3-8 million on another left sided player who may in truth be more experienced but not necessarily better than Toffolo can potentially offer.

Starting a Premier League season with Toffolo and Johnson as your left side...

doesn't fill me with confidence.

If Olsson is only going to realistically miss a few games why not give him the chance? Whittaker and Miquel can always play there instead if needed

Agreed, he either needs to be given a fair run at a decent Champs team or maybe even a move abroad for a season (I don't see this as likely however),but I'd rather he was available for us instead of warming MK Dons bench...

I heard they were talking to MK Dons but didn't know which player. So that makes sense.

Now Brady is here and looking like good business, and Olsson getting close to a return it was always likely that he'd go out, but I agree that there's no need for him to go and warm the bench, needs to go somewhere and play regularly or he might as well stay here

MK Dons would be a pretty good loan move. Tidy little club.

Decent move for him that, going to the championship is a step up on his league one loan of last season, but not going to a really big championship club (Derby, Boro etc.) means he should be able to get a decent amount of game time under his belt, plus we do now have plenty of options at left back now with Brady, Olsson and Whittaker all fit he'd struggle to get any game time here, also seems we have a good working relationship with Rotherham with this being the 3rd player we've sent there so far this season and we're only two months into the season, good deal for both clubs in my opinion

Chance to impress and earn a longer loan deal, I suppose. Good on him.

really hope he shows his full potential;  the rotherham one seemed like a disappointment overall

I havent seen anything to suggest he is prem class so I do agree - just want him to do well,  get himself a career and earn a small transfer fee for ourselves.  League one may simply be his level.
