That's exactly what it looks like round my place....except deeperView attachment 1439Well, seeing as you lot are useless, here’s a picture of snow in Harrogate via me in France.
Bloody hell! Its cold here, but nowhere near that! Where do you live, Norway?Never been as cold up where we are. Just up the hill last night it was -12 and tonight is forecast to be -16 at worst. No binmen, no chance of getting out by car (iced up thoroughly).
Often you'll get a very cold day or two but it's been 5 days on the run. The snow is so hard that you can easily walk on the surface and you don't sink through (we had a good 8 to 10 inches).
Sunday should mark the end of it thank god.
Near Skipton (as a place people have heard of). But high up above sea level. In North Yorks it's been exceedingly cold. Made all the news tonight (but then weather does)...but a big focus on the sheep having to be rescued as many are buried in the drifts.Bloody hell! Its cold here, but nowhere near that! Where do you live, Norway?![]()
Am quite happy to miss out, it is rare we get "proper" snow anyway, its always just a bit, then slush.Still no snow in NR2 this year. Will we miss out again?
Mrs R was so cold I had to leave the radiators on all night.
I read a thing on Twitter yesterday, very informed, that we are dangerously close to blackouts at the minute with this cold snap. Our whole energy system is very fragile due to this green transition nonsense.Just had a look at Gridwatch. 55% of electricity being generated by gas at the moment. Windmills won't keep us warm if the wind doesnt blow.
