It's not a system which will propel the club to great height
I just think we should stick with Wagner until the end of the season, and then change (assuming he doesn't win a fluky promotion).
A new manager will come in, spend 5 months working with the players to adapt them to his own way of playing and then lose half of them in the summer when we inevitably have to trim the wage bill.
Giannoulis, McCallum, Gibson, Hwang, Placheta, Sorenson, Baath, Forshaw, and a couple of the young keepers are all out of contract. We've got options on a couple.
Then got a situation whereas in the summer Gunn and Rowe have got 1 year left on their deals with no option, so it will be extend or sell, and who knows if we can afford to meet their wage demands.
If we're talking a long term manager it might be best to get that pain out of the way then leave him with a blank canvas and a full pre season, rather than start to transition to a new system this season then see 9 or 10 players leave.
