Big test, we really need to be a lot better than the last few games. It feels also that Wagner really needs to make a statement here, or he could well be out on his arse.

I feel a 3-0 home defeat coming on. Wagner hopefully gets the push and we have time to re-group around the cup match and get a new coach in.

ps - anyone else getting a sense of deja-vu re this time last year?

What a difference a Sarge makes. That's one for you ancient ones. I know , should be, What a difference a day makes, Wonder what division, position Norwich City were then, must be at least 60 years ago. Nice goal Sarge, also think the cancelled one was good too. Officiating standards, must be an all time low now, are there any good refs, linos out there?

I remember when we were in the PL last time that many people, including some on this forum, thought Sarge was rubbish and not worth his place in the team. I was one of the few who disagreed with this. True, he did not score goals, but even then it was clear his endeavour and ability to make a nuisance of himself showed that, even when used badly by Farke and then Smith, this lad had the potential to be a really decent player, especially in the EFL. I am so pleased we held on to him because he is just what we need.

One of the few Webber signings of that summer that haven't dropped in value. He was badly used through trying to play him with Teemu and sticking him out wide.
