Players who started at QPR who caught the eye - Fassnacht, Fisher and Springett. Plachetta was an interesting one at full back, and showed his pace at times, but the reality is that he won't be replacing Giannoulis.

I think it's fair to assume Johnny Rowe will be starting! Idah didn't really do enough for me to warrant a start on Sunday. Nunez didn't affect the game enough for me, either.

Wonder if we'll wear this...

I'm struggling with the purple, hopefully it'll look better in real life.

DW: “Tony Springett is okay. Onel (Hernandez) has broken his hand, but he will not need surgery. We have to assess him over the next few weeks.”

DW: “Everybody else has come through Wednesday night okay. Jacob Sorensen’s surgery went well, and he is back in the gym already. We expect back in the next international break. This is the same for Borja (Sainz) and Jon (Tomkinson)

DW on Tim Krul: “I really loved the seven months we worked together. What he has done for this football club speaks for itself. He has been a great servant for the football club. He was a great goalkeeper and great character.”

DW on George Long: “Paul Clements identified George Long and was keen to bring him to the club. He is a proven Championship goalkeeper.”

DW on Angus Gunn: “This is one of the reasons why Tim (Krul) moved to Luton. I made it clear that Gunny is our number one. George (Long) knows this is the situation.”

DW on QPR: “Offensively in the last 20 minutes we created lots of opportunities. Our senior players like Gunn, McLean and Duffy took it seriously and helped the young lads. It wasn’t perfect, but we won it. Emotional wins help build confidence.”

DW: “We need our supporters on Sunday to reach our target and this is to get a second win at Carrow Road.” Bring the noise City fans

DW: " They've got a good squad. Offensively and defensively, set-pieces will play a crucial part and will play a part of Sunday."

DW on #Millwall: “I expect them to be in the top-half of the table and they have made some good signings. They have some proper British centre-backs you could say. It’s an exciting game. We’re playing at home, come on, we want to win this football match.”

DW on Duffy and Barnes: “We identified last season that we needed vocal players. Although, they could be vocal and play s**t football. However, they fit into our ideal of football and play top.”

DW on transfers: “Listen in general, I’m happy with the squad. I think they have shown why I’m happy in the first games. But the window is open, so nobody knows what happens. If the window closed today, I am happy. I don’t plan anything, but who knows.”

DW on Lionesses: “We should have moved the game by an hour, it’s a World Cup final. But this decision is with the broadcasters. Once Germany went out, I was supporting England. The TV broadcasters have decided against this.”

Interesting line from the analyst Ben Lee
"Dean Smith was reactionary without a clear philosophy; Daniel Farke was ideological without adaptability. But Wagner appears to be striking a balance between the two, combining his clear philosophy with the ability to adapt to opponents."
