Well looks like Mr Wagner has a final lifeline, unless, as I saw some people speculating, that he is peddled before the AGM tonight, to try and raise the mood a bit.

Am going to assume Mr Wang is injured, so also assume Idah startes, with Barnes just in behind. I'd rather start Theoklitis than Long.

On injuries... "Hwang has a hamstring injury, hopefully he can be back before the end of the year. He will definitely miss Sunday's game."

On Hwang... "I think he's been in good form in recent weeks, and worked hard. We'll try to deal with this situation and find solutions."

On the squad... "Forshaw, Gunn, and Rowe are all back in training. We'll make the decision on those before Sunday, another late decision. I think all three could be ready."

On Sargent... "He's back on the grass this week. The next few weeks, leading up to Huddersfield, he'll be back in first-team training. Two or three weeks ahead of schedule. Lungi and Gibson back in a similar time, too."

On January... "I've spoken with Ben about plans for the window, and will have some more next week. The January window isn't the easiest. There's still four weeks to go, and a lot of games to go."

DW: “I met Mark (Attanasio) and his representatives this week. I have already spoken to Ben (Knapper) about the January window. Hopefully, we can do some good things.”

DW on Delia’s negativity commente: “Listen, in general there is frustration. Nobody is happy with where we are at the moment. I think, this is clear. Everyone who feels with this club is not happy. Me, my players, owners or fans. I’m not sure showing this helps.”

DW on Knapper’s squad age: “It’s obvious. We can and like to reduce the age of the squad. But this means the contracts need to run down or get offers, so this is a plan for the future. This is no secret”

DW: “We know a few reasons why we are in this situation we face. We know what we need to do to solve it. I understand and respect the frustration. If we can turn it then the people who are negative will be happy and celebrating for the guys. We were leading 2-0 and we didn’t perform in the second-half. I have the main responsibility for this. I respect the supporters reaction. Do I like it? No. Four months ago I was at the wheel. Four months ago everyone was screaming and celebrating. Hopefully, in four months time they can be screaming and celebrating again.

David Wagner feels the defence wasn’t at fault for the Watford defeat. It was #NCFC’s control in ball-possession.

On Watford... "We need more control. Our biggest problem against Watford was that we were not good in ball possession. We need to be braver and more confident when on the ball. The boys know they can do better than we've shown it."

DW: “It’s all about the confidence and bravery. Even in this negative atmosphere - the players need to calm it down.”

On Bristol City... "They're very organised and energetic, very hard to break down. It'll be an interesting test. We have to be braver and be clinical."

Yet it wasn't the plan was it? Just a few games ago he was giving out contracts to players in their twilight years.
I don't trust a word he says.

He can just blame Webber.

Can't recall Adam Idah showing aggression before. I like it, more please. Well done that man, very good goal

Just convinced myself to watch the highlights.
It's embarrassing, Wagner's turned us into a lower half Championship team & celebrating like a child at a last gasp winner against another lower half Championship side.
What a mess we are, doomed to this for the next couple of years.

Paddy Davitt put it well, we won despite Wagner rather than because of him.
