The non-football section of the Pinkun was unvisited prior to 2016, and when Brexit cam along it sprang into life. I would wager there plenty of times when there was more traffic going to the non-football section than to the football section. But the Pinkun management didn't understand what they had in their hands, didn't know or think how to monetise or grow it, and just left it to the junior staff members to administrate it. The Pinkun itself is probably on its last legs and losing money, it won't be around for much longer, which is very sad as I grew up in the 60s with the Pinkun being a Saturday night institution.

I will obviously have to defer to your greater knowledge on that, my friend!
I had to chuckle at Jimmy Carr commenting on that.

"I like to gangbang with pornstars as much as the next man, and the man after that, and the man after that, and the man after that...."

Truly knackered today. It couldn't put up with people agreeing with me on the subject of German Football being so much fan friendlier than ours.

Looks like it's properly busted again...
Yep, constant 400 and 502 errors this morning. Managed to get on once, but couldn't even open any threads before the 400/502 errors started again...

It's well and truly broken today. No new replies for 9 hours. It's time we all moved en masse, after all it's the people that make the forum.

Who else did you upset apart from Lakey? It’s so long ago, I can’t remember!
Pretty much everyone lol? Nah, probably just him. Him and Tilson showed up here back in the day swinging their old man balls about and I told them to stop it and they took the huff. When I was banned from the pinkun and dared to defect to another forum some people really took it badly. The silly sausages.

I have a private list of people that I know were reporting everything I did to get me banned. They are not welcome lol, they know who they are.

I was finding that debate interesting actually. Apart from the dominance of Munich I would agree with you that ze Germans do it in a far superior manner

I think the way clubs have become much more PR savvy makes life very difficult for local journalists independent of the club but focussed on the one club. They're very restricted as to what they can ask for risk of offending the club, which pretty much leaves them feeding on PR scraps like everybody else.

I went to see Borussia Dortmund at home to Mainz a few years back when Erling Haaland was there. It was an epic atmosphere. Boisterous, but friendly.
